In response to the call of "quality medical care" and "poverty eradication" in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our company cooperated with the Red Cross to provide modular medical beds and supporting equipment for hospitals in remote areas of Zambia to improve the shortage of local basic medical facilities.
Core content of cooperation
The United Red Cross Society conducted field research, developed anti-rust, low-energy medical bed (suitable for solar power supply system) for Zambia's hot and humid climate and unstable electricity environment.
Customized functional modules: antibacterial coating, stretcher-type transfer design, high electric regulation.
Products through the ISO 13485 medical device quality management system certification and WHO pre-certification (PQ);
10 year warranty, remote fault diagnosis and lifetime spare parts support.
Project results and impact
Coverage: 2,400 medical beds have been provided to 36 primary hospitals in 12 backward areas of Zambia, benefiting more than 100,000 residents;
Social value: Reduce maternal and child mortality by 27% and shorten the waiting time for emergency patients to less than 15 minutes;
